About the magazine

Slow journalism from the Atlantic coast. No sponsored hotel placements, no affiliate-driven surf-camp rankings, no AI-spun listicles.

Most of what's online about Agadir was written by someone who spent three days here in 2017 — usually filed between a Marrakech post and a Sahara post. The prices are wrong, the recommendations are recycled, and the "hidden gems" are on every other blog. Agadir Mag is the answer to that — written from a flat above the Corniche, updated as the swell and the seasons turn, and willing to say when something is overrated.

What you can trust

  • Prices in dirham, dated to the month they were checked.
  • Scam mechanics, named and explained — not just "be careful".
  • Seasonal stories rewritten each year, not republished from 2019.
  • No paid placements. Every recommendation is something the writer would send a friend to.

How this site is built
