The Agadir Mag take

Two floors of Moroccan art—contemporary pieces alongside Berber jewellery, carpets, and pottery—with over 900 artifacts in the collection, though upstairs is sometimes shuttered depending on what’s on. Entry is 40 MAD. The multilingual panels help, but English descriptions of individual works are patchy, which matters if you’re not already into art. Staff speak little English; cash only, no cards. Located off Rue Hassan II, a short walk from the Corniche rather than beachfront itself. Small enough to cover without fatigue, which means it’s decent filler on a rainy afternoon or between activities, not a destination in itself. Free entry on Fridays for residents. Toilets on site.

An intriguing combination of contemporary art pieces and heritage craft (jewellery and textiles). Introductory panels in four languages. I'd definitely recommend visiting!

360 x 360 degrees view on Moroccan art on two floors. From classical paintings to modern ones to traditional jewelry and rugs. Very much worth a visit.

Museum of contemporary art and Berber cultural and historical heritage. It showcases over 900 artifacts related to Amazigh culture and traditions. The museum's collection includes jewelry, carpets, pottery, old manuscripts, and tools used by craftsmen. Visitors can also admire the emblematic Massa necklace in the treasure room. Free on Friday for locals and residents.

This is a small art museum in Agadir. It's a little walk from the front/prom beach area but worth it. It's 40 MAD each adult. There's a variety of art from various artists plus some carpets from the Atlas area and some jewellery. Interesting to visit and not overly big so enough to see. There are toilets on site. It's in quite a nice area.

Agadir Art Museum was an interesting stop, though not without a few surprises. According to the sign outside, all foreigners were supposed to pay an entrance fee, but for some reason, our group of students studying abroad was allowed in for free. The staff at the counter spoke very little English, which made communication a bit tricky, and only local cash was accepted—no euros or cards—so it’s worth bringing some with you. As someone who isn’t an art enthusiast, I still found the pieces quite neat and diverse. It would have been nice to see more descriptions in English to better understand the works. The upstairs area was closed, apparently because there was no exhibition there at the time. The museum does have restrooms available, which was convenient.
