Agadir Beach
C99R+X8M, Rue La Plage, Agadir 80000, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
The Corniche delivers what you’d expect: a long, clean, sandy beach fronted by a working promenade with cafés, restaurants, and enough police presence that you won’t worry about your belongings. The sand is genuinely golden, the water swimmable (though Atlantic temperatures vary wildly by season), and it’s the kind of place where families actually spend whole afternoons rather than bolt after twenty minutes.
What works is scale and maintenance. A 4km stretch means you’re not crowded even in peak season. The infrastructure—lifeguards, facilities, the Icon sign—feels genuinely maintained, not performative. Early mornings are quieter; afternoons bring football games and vendors which some find lively, others annoying.
It’s not a nature reserve or a hidden corner. It’s an urban beach that functions properly. That’s rarer than it should be, and worth knowing before you factor in a morning here against, say, the empty stretches south of Taghazout.

Nice clean beach well looked after.
Agadir Beach is absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco! We walked along the promenade for miles and loved every single moment. 🫶 The beach itself is gorgeous - long stretches of golden sand, clean and well-maintained. The Atlantic Ocean views are breathtaking, and there's something so peaceful about watching the waves roll in. Whether you want to relax on the sand, take a swim, or just enjoy the sea breeze, this beach has it all! ♥️ The beachfront promenade is incredible! It's perfect for long walks, day or night. Everything is beautifully designed and maintained - palm trees, lighting, seating areas, and that iconic "I ❤️ AGADIR" sign that captures the spirit of this amazing city. The whole area feels safe, clean, and welcoming. 😍 What we loved most was the atmosphere - you can feel the energy of Agadir here. Locals and tourists mixing, families enjoying time together, people exercising, couples strolling at sunset. There's a real sense of community and joy along this beachfront. 🥰 The facilities along the beach are excellent - plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, clean public spaces, and the promenade is accessible for everyone. Whether you're visiting for a few hours or spending the whole day, you'll find everything you need. 🫶 Agadir Beach isn't just a beach - it's an experience. The combination of natural beauty, excellent infrastructure, and vibrant atmosphere makes it one of the best urban beaches we've visited. ❤️ A must-visit if you're in Agadir! 5 stars without hesitation! ♥️🥰
“Absolutely stunning beach! The sand is soft and golden, the water is clean, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Perfect for a morning walk, sunbathing, or watching the sunset. The promenade is lively with cafés and restaurants, yet the beach still feels calm and spacious. One of the best places to enjoy in Agadir. Highly recommended!”
Beautiful!✅️ Clean.✅️ Safe! ✅️ This "easy to access" beach is one of the most beautiful in Northern Africa! Highly recommend!
Great, nice and clean beach equipped with everything, including lifeguards. We visited it during the last week of April 2025. The weather was great, always sunny and warm at noon and the afternoon, while cloudy and chilly in the morning and late evening. The beach is huge and long, all amenities available, full of cafes, restaurants, hotels, ice-cream vendors, souvenir shops; and above all a lot of Police patrolling the area for public safety. In some areas, the soccer playing youth bother you but you can move away. You feel safe. The mountain nearby adds charm to the view.
