The Agadir Mag take

Oufella works. The cable car up—under a tenner—saves you the grinding taxi haggle, and the views across Agadir and the bay justify the trip. The kasbah itself is less impressive than the vantage point; a self-guided wander through the ruins takes maybe an hour if you read the plaques, longer if you linger for photos. The real friction point is the vendors. Most are fine. One reviewer had a pushy seller upset their daughter; other merchants shut him down, which speaks to some self-policing, but it’s not guaranteed. Animal rides (camels, ponies) are there if you want them, and the small supermarket won’t fleece you on water. Best done early or late to dodge midday heat and crowds. Budget two hours comfortably. Families with young kids find it manageable; the cable car alone makes it worth the journey.

The Oufella is interesting and nice to learn about it's history. We got a taxi up and the cable car back down, which was all very easy. The view is absolutely incredible from up there!

Really beautiful spot to see above Agadir and the surrounding area. The cable car was nice and easy to get to too. There are people up there selling stuff and most were okay, but we had one guy who pestered us to the point of making my daughter upset. The other sellers actually stepped in and told him to go away and leave us alone!

Super castle to visit with great views of Agadir. Took the chairlift to the top and it was a great ride at less than £10. No ripoff prices in the small supermarket either. You can get a camel ride or a small horse ride for kids too.

We had a great time and was like stepping back in history. The self guided hero is sufficient to give you the entire history. There are lots of plaques and signage for a self-guided tour. The Cable car people are also very helpful. It is an amazing experience to go to such a high elevation in the Cable car. The family loved it. Near the fourth, you will see camels and ponies as well as various shops to get a great bargain for souvenirs. We spent approximately two hours by choice because we wanted to enjoy ourselves. We had a great time. We came back feeling like we glad you had a relaxing time and it was real tourism. Not just another tourist trap.
