Agadir Ouffela cable car station
Rte Agadir Oufalla, Agadir 80000, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
The cable car is genuinely worth the trip for the views—the ocean, medina, and Anti-Atlas line up properly from up there. Ten minutes each way, so even if heights unsettle you, it’s brief. Expect 130 MAD per adult, though one reviewer paid 46€ for two adults and two kids (worth checking current pricing; there’s murmur of price inconsistency). The real friction: once at the top, everything costs extra. The fort ruins require an additional fee. Camel and pony rides are separate. A small café and toilets exist, which helps. Reviews split on value—some find it reasonable for the view alone, others reckon 20 minutes’ travel time doesn’t justify the outlay. No queue issues reported; go mid-morning or late afternoon to avoid tour groups. Wind occasionally halts service for safety, which is fine. Walk around the castle exterior free of charge. It’s a solid half-hour detour if you’re near the Corniche, less appealing if you’re already paying heavily elsewhere that day.

A great tourist attraction with amazing views. Adult ticket 130MAD for tourists. At the top you get to ride camels if you want for a separate fee, you have to haggle to get a good, cheap ride.
The place is interesting, the view is nice, you can see the ocean and the city up from the hill, but the money you pay just for a 20 min go up and return doesn’t seem to be worth. (46€ for 2 adults and 2 kids). And the bad part is when you are up there you need to pay extra for visiting the old ruins.
The cable car up to the Oufella is a good trip! The views are amazing and it only really takes 10 mins from start to finish so if you're a little bit scared of heights its not too long til you're back on terra firma! No queue, we didn't have to wait and on the way down we had a car to ourselves!
Had a ride on the cable car(s) mid November went by ourselves as walked from Agadir Bay, so no queue and no need to buy tickets in advance on this occasion. It was quite windy on the day we went and was advised that they will monitor the wind and if it gets too bad then they would bring us down and stop the ride so slower ride up to the top for safety. Once at the top you are free to walk around the outside of the fort/castle, but for a small extra fee you can go inside (we did not). Amazing views, very small handful of souvenir stalls and little pony ride up there as well. There are toilets and a small cafe there as well I believe. Overall worth a visit for the amazing views.
Excellent experience on the cable cars we went off peak late Oct early Nov. There were no queues and we went straight on. The views are amazing and we just walked around the castle, there are 2-3 tourist souvenir tables and there are camels and a small pony that you pay for rides.
