iben Zaydoun Garden
Agadir 80000, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
Iben Zaydoun works as the city’s actual green space—not a tourist attraction masquerading as one. It’s split into two sections: a quieter original garden with tree-lined walks and seating, and a newer recreational zone with a skatepark, tennis courts, and playground. Reviewers consistently praise maintenance: paths are clean, grass trimmed, toilets functional and free, water fountains operational. The plant collection apparently outmatches what you’d expect to find planted around Agadir generally. An art installation rotates through one end. It’s the kind of place locals direct you to when the marketed alternatives disappoint. No entry fee mentioned across reviews. Come for stillness or bring kids; both work. Early morning avoids crowds.

Quiet place to take a seat and watch the world go by
Beautiful garden area towards the back of the city. Beautifully finished and lots of spaces to sit and relax. Also clean public toilets. The grass and trees are really well kept, plus a selection of flowers and plants like I have never seen in the city before. Also I saw a few water fountains which were nice to stay near when its hot.
Beautiful gardens split into two the original tranquil space and then the more recreationally orientated garden with skatepark, tennis courts etc. Nice places to invigorate, relax or more practically use the toilets.
We were guided here by a local gentleman who noticed that we were disappointed that the Valley of the Birds was gone. We are grateful to him, because this was a beautiful place in the middle of Agadir. There are playgrounds with well-maintained equipment for the children, lovely walks in tree lined paths, well-maintained toilets, a drinking water fountain, and yes, birds to enjoy!
This garden is big and beautiful. So clean and peaceful. There is a big playground for children (no pictures for children’s privacy) and a new bathroom. There seems to be an art exhibit on one end of the garden at the moment with giant sculptures and pictures displayed.
