The petit train works best as a no-friction intro to Agadir’s layout rather than a proper attraction in itself. It’s 30–50 minutes around the corniche and inland streets, departing roughly hourly. At 20 MAD adults / 12 MAD children, the price is genuinely low enough that you’re not badly out if it underwhelms.
Reviews split cleanly: families with young kids find it worthwhile; those expecting narrated cultural insight tend toward disappointment. Some mention music and atmosphere, others report silence. The driver will drop you at different points along the route, which works well if you want to explore a particular area properly afterward rather than returning to the station.
It’s filler activity—something to do on a flat afternoon with restless children or if you want to clock where things are without walking. The corniche itself is the actual draw. Don’t expect revelation.

Well for the low cost of this it’s worth it especially for children. It was below expectations as no commentary, no music and pretty boring suggesting the main attraction of Agadir is the sea front with its fabulous beach not forgetting the beautful weather. There is really nothing to see of any note but pleased we did it and something you might as well do. There was no places on the route though that inspired us to see again. Don’t want to be mean but just the way it was for us. Big plus was it will stop and you can get off and this saved the return taxi fare back to Tikida Beach so much appreciated!
This train ride was fabulous. Enjoyed by myself & my children. The tour took us around the tourist & non tourist parts which was great as it gave us a feel for the city as a whole.
We recently took a ride on this train and it was such a great experience. The ride lasted around 30 minutes and traveled along normal roads and seafront. It was the perfect family activity and a memorable way to explore the area. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend this attraction for anyone wanting something a little different and enjoyable! 🚂✨
Lovely little train ride around agadir. It's a 40-50 minute ride and only 20Dirhams for adult, 12Dirhams for children. Reccommended ⭐️
Appears to leave every hour and the tour lasts approximately 30-35 minutes. Pretty entertaining with the music adding to the atmosphere. Useful way to get to know some of the cities attractions and very reasonably priced as well.
