Amsterdam luxury restaurant
Résidence Islane GH14, N6, Agadir 80000, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
Amsterdam trades in spectacle—theatrical plating with edible gold leaf, mojitos arriving in display cabinets wreathed in liquid ice, live music most evenings. Every review praises the staff by name (Fayassal, Abdur Raheem, Abdul, Abde), which suggests either genuine consistency or a small, well-drilled team. The spicy and garlic prawns appear multiple times; the côte de boeuf lands hard. No one mentions price, which speaks volumes for a luxury spot on the N6.
The obvious tension: reviews skew heavily tourist, with mentions of travelling from Taghazout and “fellow tourist” recommendations. No criticism surfaces across five straight fives—unusual for a 4.8-rated place with 3,456 reviews. What locals actually make of it remains unclear. Service seems attentive rather than stuffy. The no-alcohol policy makes the mojito thing genuinely odd, worth clarifying if you go.

Amazing service and food. i couldn’t recommend anywhere else. such a lovely restaurant so clean and well done. fayassal was amazing really looked after us and made sure everything was ok
Great dinner experience. The food was excellent, service was fast, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The musician playing several instruments was amazing and added a special touch to the evening. Highly recommended in Agadir.
Came here to celebrate my Husband’s birthday. It was recommended to us by a fellow tourist. If you are in agadir..this is the place for steaks! Delicious food and drinks. Abdur Raheem served us and he was very polite and friendly.
What a place, travelled 30 mins from Taghazout to get here but it was worth every penny. No alcohol in this restaurant so we opted for the cocktails - Mojito. Arrived in a display cabinet with liquid ice - unreal. We were given bread and olives to start and we ordered Spicy Prawns and Pil Pil Garlic Prawns as a starter and both were delicious. Onto the mains we ordered the gold cote de boeuf which came with 2 sides and 2 sauces. The edible gold was a rare treat and I've never ate this before. The cut was lovely, very tasty and suitable for 2 to share. What blew me away was the presentation as it arrived in a contained box with liquid ice. It also had live music who was unreal too. Safw [Safe to] say we were impressed and would certainly recommend this place. Special mention to our server Abdul who went above and beyond.
This restaurant is amazing. This was on my list of restaurants to visit while on my 1st trip to Morocco and it didn’t disappoint. I had the garlic prawns for starters and filet of beef for mains. For drinks I had a mojito exotic. I was served by Abde, who gave a10/10 service making sure I had a lovely seat with an Amazing view of the restaurant. The live music was beautiful to listen too will definitely visit again
