VANISCA restaurant
Agadir Bay, Agadir 80000, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
Vanisca sits on the bay with a reputation that feels genuinely earned rather than inflated. Four reviewers gave five stars; one gave three—the outlier citing timing delays upstairs and expecting “high class” presentation, which suggests mismatched expectations rather than failure. The consensus otherwise is striking: grilled fish, salmon with dill, calamari, and pasta with mussels all appear multiple times and are consistently praised as properly executed. One reviewer noted vegetables fried with cloves and cardamom—the kind of specificity that suggests actual care in the kitchen rather than rote assembly. Portions run large. Service splits between “attentive and well-trained” across multiple visits and one instance of sluggish ordering on the upper floor. Prices appear reasonable for seafood quality, though no one specified exact figures. It reads as a competent, generous spot for tourists and repeat visitors alike, without mystique or pretension.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ VANISCA Restaurant Excellent experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding – the waiters were very polite, attentive, and clearly well trained. The food was absolutely amazing: perfectly grilled fish, calamari, octopus, pasta with mussels, and fresh salads – everything was cooked and seasoned just right 👌the portions rather big, so reserve the space for food before entering this place :) Great quality for very decent prices, especially considering the freshness of the seafood and the level of service. Highly recommended when visiting Agadir!
Today I had the pleasure of eating fantastic food at this restaurant. We started with vegetable soup – it was very good, delicate in flavor, and warming. For the main course, I ordered salmon with rice and vegetables – the salmon was very good, charred, and served with a sour dill sauce. I think the sauce was the perfect pairing for the salmon – kudos to the chef. I also got vegetables and rice with the dish, which was fried with cloves, cardamom, and I think cumin – another fantastic combination. There was also beetroot and carrot gel on the plate (I think). I really enjoyed the dish. For dessert, I ordered chocolate fondant. Everything was delicious, thank you.
As a tourists, the truffle risotto is really good, and pizza is good. the carbonara is creamy but not my type as traditional one. Not that much seat there, and because of we sitting upper floor which we wait so long for ordering, and the tableware is not ready when we arrived restaurant, sorry because we expect this is high class dining restaurant in Agadir, so we think this should be this as hight class restaurant.
This is our third visit to Agadir. But we had never been to this awesome place before. But wow !!! We were shocked. The food was not only well presented but tasted wonderful. We even had a complementary starter of bread and olives and cream cheese. Which tasted delightful. As you can see by the photos the food looked and tasted incredible. The Creme Brûlée portion was huge for us, but tasted wonderful. The service was perfectly timed between courses. Our waiter was chatty and helpful and always attentive to our needs. Brilliant, a very big thank you to him. We will definitely visit again. Awesome 😊
Simply amazing. Best restaurant I have yet been to in Agadir, and I’ve been to many. The service is top quality and our waiter Yousef provided a service that was above and beyond. The food was top quality, rather than describe it I have included the photos. Steak and salmon main courses were excellent, as were the starters and dessert. I would highly recommend a visit and I will definitely be here again.
