The Agadir Mag take

Blacksmith pulls decent crowds—almost always a queue—and the staff move with purpose. Service oscillates between attentive and indifferent depending on the night. The mixed grill and shish kebab land consistently; prawn pilpil starters please. Homemade desserts (tiramisu, crème brûlée) justify the return visits many reviewers mention.

But execution falters. Cold pizza sat too long before plating. Lasagne arrives dry, stroganoff paired with lumpy, unseasoned mash. The 3507 ratings skew high, yet one reviewer’s experience—worst of their Agadir week—hints at inconsistency the 5-star reviews don’t acknowledge.

Moderate pricing keeps it accessible. The mojitos work. No alcohol license beyond that, worth knowing upfront. Decent bones; uneven follow-through.

Hubby and I ate there Friday 28th Feb, there was a queue outside but we'd booked a table for 8:30 however the waiters were not overly concerned and left us in the queue. Once we were seated the waiter was very polite and helpful. We ordered chicken wings and the prawn pilpil for starters which were lovely. Then hubby ordered a pizza and I'd ordered the beef stroganoff. Hubby could see into the pizza prep area and saw a pizza sat there for a good few minutes, then when my stroganoff was brought over the pizza that had been sat there for a while was brought over. So his pizza was cold. My stroganoff was nice however it came with mash that was lumpy and unseasoned, like it was made with just milk no butter or salt and pepper. Out of all the restaurants we'd tried during our week in Agadir this was the worst. Also there is no alcohol which isn't a problem but would've been nice to kno before we went. We just had water in the end.

Fantastic meal last night, we had the mixed grill followed by creme caramel and tiramasu. I also had a couple of their lovely passion fruit mojitos! It seems to be busy ALL the time so prepare to wait 5/10 minutes to be seated but they are super efficient and friendly so not a long wait for food at all. Meat was great, deserts were home made and the prices were fantastic 10/10 we will defo be back

Very nice restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, while also being very professional. The atmosphere is great – there are two different indoor seating areas, both nicely arranged, with large glass windows overlooking the street. There is also a classic outdoor terrace where you can relax and spend time outside, and it’s possible to smoke there as well. The food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely come back.

Very clean, great food been 2 times all other foods tried between 6 of us was great Improvements Lasagne needs to be more sauce not as dry. So when it is cooked you have good amount of tomato and white sauce it was too dry __________________________ Comments Attached photos are of food we ate what was beautiful.

Great restaurant! Staying in Agadir for a few days, so I searched for good restaurants to try authentic food and this one was a great choice! Food was delicious, really enjoyed the garlic bread as the starter and the shish kebab as the main. Mojitos are also great, as well as crème brûlée. All waiters were very attentive, very professional service, and food was also prepared really quick. The restaurant itself is very atmospheric, beautiful and clean. We are planning to come back here :)
