The Agadir Mag take

Kabsa Food Yard trades on beachfront real estate and Subcontinental comfort food, and mostly delivers. The chicken kabsa—their signature—lands consistently: fragrant rice, tender meat, the kind of thing that justifies the pilgrimage from elsewhere on the Corniche. Portions run genuinely large; a kabsa for two feeds two. Lamb appears tender enough to cut without resistance, which matters.

The inconsistency is the biryani. One reviewer found it dry, another praised it; the Lucknow-style preparation seems to swing. Service is attentive and staff know the menu. The space feels clean, with both indoor and seaside seating.

Price remains opaque from these reviews, though “very good price” and generous portions suggest it’s not playing at fine dining. The 4.6-star average across 614 reviews reflects what you see here: solid execution on rice dishes, reliable if not spectacular.

Visited on Monday 18/08/2025. Of all the food places eaten at to date, on our Agadir adventure, this one is the best one so far. Clean, well decorated with staff that are friendly and welcoming and willing to assist on menu options. We opted for the chicken kabsa for 2, chicken rice bowl and the shawarma. All agreed food was nice but the chicken kabsa, recommended by our waiter was outrageously good. I can still recall the first spoonful of rice going into my mouth. Just incredibly flavourful and tasty. This has to be a must visit if you’re coming to Agadir.

Beachside Bites with a Touch of Tradition 🌊🍗 The place was clean and nicely kept, right by the beach — great setting. The food was good overall. The chicken was crispy and well-prepared, and the biryani (along with the rest of the Lucknow-style dishes) held up surprisingly well — good enough even for Monaco! However the chicken for the biryani was very dry All in all, a good spot with a nice mix of flavour, cleanliness, and location.

Really good staff member that served us, the portion size was extremely generous and very good price. The lamb was so soft that you are able to cut it with a spoon without any effort. This is must try.

First time eating here.  Clean place to eat.  Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating available with view of beach. Nice friendly server, took orders and bought food to table quickly and efficiently.  Food was tasty, good portion size and fresh and the milkshakes were really cool and refreshing. Overall, good service and happy customers😊
