La Buvette
Immeuble Uniprix, Av. Hassan II, Agadir 80000, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
La Buvette has built something genuinely rare in Agadir: a dining room where the plating, service choreography, and drinks list all point the same direction. Two hundred reviews averaging 4.8 suggests this isn’t one person’s night—it’s consistency.
The menu reads European rather than Moroccan. Goat cheese tart, veal fillet, sea bass; the catch of the day gets proper seasoning and technique rather than tourist-baiting nostalgia. Steaks arrive with fresh-fried crisps and a sauce you’d order separately if you could. A Dry Martini programme and G’vine cognac telegraph seriousness about drink.
Service is where the reviews converge hardest: staff position salt cellars with intention. Birthdays get the full choreography. Wine recommendations come warm, not performative.
Location is Hassan II—bustling main junction, car horns included. Inside finishes beautifully; outside offers greenery and light if you tolerate urban soundtrack. No one complains about value. Book weekends ahead.

Superb meal and wonderful service. Very friendly and attentive staff who served my birthday dessert all together; everyone enjoyed the singing!!! We cannot wait to return for a steak!!
Enjoyed a valentines dinner due to a recommendation from our UK friends saying it was the best food and service they have experienced in Morocco 🇲🇦 and we have to say, we agree too 👌 the food was delicious 🤤 from the salmon pate appetiser, to the veil steaks 🥩 served with a meaty sauce, nut and spice seasoned green leaves and a big cone of freshly fried crisps! Taste 👅 texture and visual sensation 😍 the service was also exceptional, I’ve really never seen such high quality service here, such as the waiter taking care where he positioned the salt and pepper on the table. We sat outside as it was all reserved inside due to it being valentines night, so I would recommend booking on weekend evenings. The only thing that could be improved is just the location. It was nice outside, with lots of plants and good lighting, but it is next to a main junction so there is lots of cars honking their horns and rushing past. Some may like to watch the hustle and bussel of the city, if not I would recommend eating inside where it has a beautiful finish. If this was located near the sea or in the Marina it would be classed as the number 1 restaurant in Agadir. Thank you to the team there, exceptional.
Definitely recommend this place. The food was absolutely delicious. The complimentary bread and spread they bring were very tasty. I then got the goat cheese tart which was divine. And for the main meal got the catch of the day which was a sea bass filet that was cooked and seasoned perfectly. All very good dishes. The servers were all extremely welcoming and hospitable and attentive. The atmosphere was also lovely. Very classy and still comfortable. I will be coming back.
Wow! We have been in Morocco over a year and this is by far the best meal we have had. Everything has been thought through - the lighting, furniture, playlist, uniforms, bar selection, menu but most imlortantly the service. The careful attention to detail, the warmness in their recommendations - Adam's attention especially make us feel like royalty. I would buy anything he is selling, its a good job it was such well priced delicious food. Now the food: from the 4 goats cheese tart (tangy and rich), through to the Veal fillet (a wonderful crust and rare middle - served with creamy mash) Amazigh dessert (crunchy AND smooth and delicious) everything was perfection. And the drinks - a selection from across the world unrivalled in anything we have seen in Morocco. The expertly mixed Dry Martinis showed off their wonderful gin range. The cognac aged G'vine was particularly memorable. Thank you to the whole team for such an exceptional experience. Kate, James, Chris & Khalid.
The first time I came across a 5⭐️Google review that genuinely earned it stars. Food is 5 star, the serving is 5 star and the ambience of the restaurant is a 5 star. A must to go restaurant if you in Agadir. Thank you Azzedine and the team for a lovely memory of Agadir, we definitely will come again next time we come to Agadir.
