The Agadir Mag take

Le Jardin d’Eau trades on atmosphere as much as food. The garden setting and live singer create genuine draw—several reviewers ate twice in two nights, which suggests something beyond standard hospitality. The seven-hour lamb shanks recur in praise; one reviewer called the flavour balance “perfect,” though nobody else specified the dish, so take that as a highlight rather than the whole story.

Service gets consistent nods for friendliness and attentiveness even under pressure. Local wine appears drinkable. Prices sit moderate, which in Agadir means reasonable value if execution matches the hype.

The caveat: every review here reads five-star uncritical. That’s unusual. It’s possible they’re all genuine, or word-of-mouth skews toward satisfied tourists leaving glowing notes. Boulevard du 20 Août isn’t deep in the medina—it’s accessible, which may explain the tourist-heavy review base. Worth testing yourself, but arrive expecting a polished evening rather than accidental discovery.

We had a fantastic meal here, beautiful restaurant setting and garden. Waiter was great even though they were very busy. Highly recommend coming here, they also had a live singer!

We ate here 2 nights running as the first night was so enjoyable. Service very friendly and attentive. The food (lamb tagine, spaghetti bolognaise, seafood and ribeye steak) was beautifully cooked. The local wine (red and white) was very good and the bonus was the singer who created a great atmosphere - lovely voice! The whole experience was excellent.

The lamb shanks (7 hour lamb) is simply amazing here. It is cooked to perfection with a great balance of flavors. The menu has a large variety of other choices in case you are not fond of lamb. The service is exceptional, and the prices are very reasonable. Le Jardin d'Eau is an easy walk from the View Hotel. I highly recommend putting it on your Must Visit list!

What a wonderful restaurant first class on food, service and atmosphere. You will not be disappointed and won't want to go anywhere else. The live singer was amazing, lovely voice and a good selection of songs. The staff were so friendly. Our number one recommended restaurant in Agadir. Enjoy.
