The Agadir Mag take

Mamma Caterina sits at the Marina’s far end, and its Italian credentials appear genuine—staff speak the language, and reviewers familiar with Italy vouch for the basics. Pizza, pasta, and bruschetta land more often than not. The caprese with burrata and pizza diavolo drew particular praise; the bolognese fared better than the anchovy pasta, which one diner found aggressively fishy.

The catch: service is erratic. One reviewer waited 40 minutes for drinks, received cutlery only after food arrived, and found staff conducting Zoom calls rather than attending tables. Another noted slowness but attributed it charitably to understaffing. The view and playlist win consistent mention, which matters at a marina location. Prices aren’t confirmed, but the Marina postcode suggests premium positioning. Hit-or-miss execution undermines what could be solid cooking.

The pizza was super delicious just as i was craving it! I enjoyed the view and their playlist is so cool you’ll love especially if you are a millennial or Gen X. I recommend!!

The service can be a little slow, which I imagine is due to limited staffing, but very good location in the Agadir Marina. My partner is Italian, and hearing him speak Italian with the staff was very reassuring. Having been to Italy many times, I feel confident in recognising authentic Italian food—and the alla Norma, seafood pasta, and bruschetta were all buono! Must visit restaurant when in Agadir.

Moved us off a table at 2pm because he said it was reserved, then we sat there for an hour waiting for our food and drinks, 40 mins before we got 2 cokes we ordered 😂 while he set a table for customers that weren't there, and left cutlery down and eventually when our food did arrive, even tho there was only one table of 4 in the place who had their food when we arrived, we had no cutlery. No interaction with us at all. Pizza came out with no tomato base on it, bruschetta was cold. And when I went in to pay, which I had to do because they were nowhere to be seen, they were inside the kitchen on a zoom call. Awful

This small Italian restaurant is worth the walk to the end of the marina in Agadir. The starter caprese salad was perfect with an oozing burata on top. My negrini was a delight and the pizza diavilo was simply delightful. Great bread, spicy salami and plenty of cheese. They happily accommodated request for extra olives in top. The whole family had something different and all great quality. Highly recommended.

The view is wonderful, we took salade di polo which was good, the pasta with anchovies and white sauce was too fishy for my taste. I like anchovies but I expected them to be served as slices not blended with the sauce. The bolognese however was much better. I recommend the place just don’t get the anchovies pasta.
