Restaurant Chwicool
Agadir 80000, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
Chwicool trades on Levantine cooking—shawarma, falafel, grilled chicken—executed with enough consistency to hold a 4.3 rating across 584 reviews. The consensus praise lands on flavour and freshness: the bread, the hummus, the thoumia (garlic sauce) all get named repeatedly. Staff names surface too—Elhoucine, Lahossim, Meriam, Naser—which suggests either genuinely attentive service or reviewers who notice when they’re looked after.
The portion question divides slightly. Early skeptics said they were meagre; recent visitors call them generous. Worth testing yourself rather than trusting the internet’s memory here.
One reviewer flagged the menu-reality gap—dishes listed but unavailable, and an inflexible stance on substitutions despite “high prices.” Another spotted flies. These aren’t dealbreakers for a casual Levantine spot, but they’re the sort of friction that matters when you’re paying premium rates. The restaurant clearly has the fundamentals right. The gaps are operational.

I kept reading that the portions were too little, But in my opinion the portions are just the right amount, maybe they were too little because they were too delicious to resist. I liked the shawarma, the falafel were amazing, the humus was so delicious 🩷🫶🏻, the grilled chiken was tasty 😋, the bread's fresh, the thoumia was on point, The salad's fresh as well, the rice was my favorite 🫶🏻🍚, it had a familiar and delicious taste.
I recently dined at this restaurant and was impressed by both the food and the service. The dishes were flavorful, well-presented, and served in generous portions, making the meal truly enjoyable. The staff specially Elhoucine and Lahossim were welcoming, attentive without being intrusive, and ensured that everything arrived promptly. Overall, the combination of delicious food and warm service created a satisfying dining experience that I would happily recommend.
I’ve been to this restaurant twice and really enjoyed both visits .Everything was delicious. The place has a nice, comfortable vibe that makes you feel relaxed. I’ll definitely come back again 🤗
Awesome experience trying Syrian and libanaise dishes, and I must say that the stuff were very welcoming and smiley, thanks to Meriam et Naser for their welcoming. Definitely be back again soon
I liked the service, the team, the decoration and the food. However, since you have high prices I hope you can let your customers adjust their plate, I asked to replace merguez with kebab because I don't eat it but the waiter said they can't! And please if you don't serve the dishes you have in the menu then there's no reason to have it in your menu . Also there were flies hovering around us, hopefully you can do something to prevent it. Thank you 🙏🏼
