Restaurant la Pastilla
complexe tagadirt, Bv 20 août, Agadir 80000, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
La Pastilla earns its 4.7 rating honestly. What cuts through the reviews is less the food—though lamb tajine and chicken couscous draw consistent praise—and more the price-to-quality ratio. Breakfast for 85 MAD (shakshuka, omelette, bread, honey, coffee, juice) lands well below what you’d pay in Marrakesh or the medina tourist drag. The space works: intimate inside, spillover seating outside on Boulevard 20 Août, somehow avoiding the usual road-noise penalty.
Staff names appear repeatedly (Siad, Soufiane, Youssef), which matters. Complementary starters and peppermint tea with pastries at close feel genuine rather than choreographed. One minor note: all reviews are five stars, which either speaks to consistent execution or selective visibility—hard to say. Worth testing the claim about the pastilla itself.

Everything about this place is incredible. It has a unique atmosphere about it as soon as you walk in. It's quite intimate and has a small space inside and more seating outside. The restaurant is on a main road, but it's still doesn't ruin the atmosphere (in my opinion). The service is great and Siad was very attentive. The lamb tajine was incredible! I was never rushed even though the restaurant was busy and at the end I was treated to traditional peppermint tea and pastries
I randomly stumbled upon this place and it did not disappoint! The service is top notch - very amicable and homelike. The food is delicious: couscous with chicken is a must try! With every dish they serve complementary starters which is very nice Had a great evening at la Pastilla
Absolutely phenomenal. We had been in Marrakesh before and in the desert and the prices here are very competitive, like twice as lower with much higher quality. 85 dhs for two meal breakfast, bread, honey, coffee and orange juice is a big deal. Especially if the food is as tasty as here - shakshuka and french omelette top notch 👌 Our waiter Soufiane and Youssef the manager showed us warm hospitality. If you want to start your day the right way - this is the place you crave for. Shukran! 😁
A wonderful Moroccan restaurant with excellent service and a very professional team. The staff are welcoming, attentive, and treat guests with great elegance and respect. The atmosphere is warm and refined, and the food is beautifully presented and full of authentic flavors. A truly pleasant dining experience that I highly recommend.”
Wonderful local cafe. The staff and setting are cozy and comforting. The food is exceptional. The best tajine in the area and the pastilla is a must try.
