Zanzibar Restaurant - Bar & Terrace

Great food, drinks and ambiance. The staff is incredibly kind and remembers you after your first visit and welcomes you very warmly when you come back. First night we tried their food; we had a seabass, beef steaks, pizza and pasta and all were satisfying, but we missed a bit of seasoning. Tonight we came back for cocktails on a very cozy and gorgeous terrace, the music is very pleasant. As a bartender I have some comments about the quality and preparation of the drinks, caipirinha for example should be made with limes and not lemons and there shouldn't be any tequila in it, Cuba libre should also be made with limes and Pina colada shouldn't contain Malibu, but maybe not everyone is as picky as I am, so it's worth checking out regardless and experiencing your own self. Also despite the tiny mistakes in drinks we did enjoy them. Thank you for your hospitality Zanzibar team!

We came to this restaurant based on the many positive reviews and expectations of good service, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. We asked for our meat medium-rare. The first time it arrived overcooked. When we sent it back, they replaced it with meat that seemed boiled and half-cooked - not grilled at all and completely lacking flavour. The chicken was extremely dry. We also ordered mashed potatoes, which arrived around 30 minutes later, long after the rest of the meal. The service made things worse. Staff were inattentive and dismissive, disappearing for long periods and returning only after half an hour. The atmosphere was cold, and when we asked if heating could be arranged, they did not seem to care. Overall, poor food quality, slow service and an unwelcoming attitude. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Agadir.

Oh my gosh 🤪 The food was amazing. We had the mixed grill with basmati rice and sautéd vegetables. My wife had the Carbonara and I had the Arrabbiata. The presentation was awesome. The taste amazing. We enjoyed our meal so much. The ambience of the place is incredible. Great music in the background. The staff are amazing. Very attentive to our needs and extremely polite. We later retired to the lounge area to enjoy Shisha and coffee. An amazing finish to our evening. Left us wanting more. PS. Remember this is a hotel restaurant. Hence the prices are a little dearer, but well worth what you get in return. On the whole, fabulous evening. Would we return??? Of course, we had too much fun. Thank you everyone at Zanzibar 🫶 Went here again on Christmas day. Wow, what an evening. Filled with great food and entertainment as well as ambience. Thank you.

Zanzibar Restaurant - Bar is a beautiful venue with a great atmosphere. The live performers and entertainment program are top-notch! It really offers the best of both worlds: a lively vibe inside for party animals and a lovely, quiet terrace for those preferring a relaxed evening. ​However, I felt the service didn't quite match the above-average price point. For the cost, I expected a slightly higher standard of attention. That said, I was satisfied overall and enjoyed my visit.
