The Agadir Mag take
La Paix sits on the Taghazout strip alongside other surf camps, and the 3.9 rating masks real tension. Breakfast divides opinion sharply: some call it genuinely good—plenty of bread, decent orange juice, proper coffee—whilst others found it thin and poorly executed cappuccinos. The restaurant is where consensus breaks down entirely. Service ranges from “professional, worth the wait” to 30 minutes for an order and an hour to deliver it. The grilled octopus earns praise when it arrives; prices run higher than neighbours. Smoking on the terrace bothers some guests. Staff friendliness is consistent across reviews, and the location with beach views checks out. If you’re here for the room and breakfast before dawn patrol, this works. If you’re banking on the restaurant for dinner, read recent reviews first—or cross the road.

Our experience at La Paix Taghazout was nothing short of fantastic. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Their warm and welcoming nature added to the overall charm of the place. The location of La Paix Taghazout is also noteworthy, offering beautiful views of the beach and providing easy access to nearby attractions. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with excellent breakfast and exceptional staff, La Paix Taghazout is the place to be. Highly recommended!
We eat for diner at the restaurant. The waiter was really professional, service was a bit long but worth it because the meals were all delicious ! We had a plate to share composed by some grilled eggplant, lentils salad and peppers salad (i advised you to have this plate as a starter or to share because it is quite small for a person), kafta brochette and the best : grilled octopus which was amazing ! Prices are a bit expensive compared to other restaurant but the tasty octopus made us forget about the price ;-)
Review is about the restaurant. Long waiting time to even be acknowledged. Was hoping to get the orange juice first but got it last. Smoking is permitted on the terrasse to my frustration. For the same price, other places on the beach have more complete and balanced breakfast. The cappuccino had a terrible taste.
Very awesome Morocco breakfast. I tried both and one is better than the other. I recommended the first one (first picture). Includes a lot of bread, coffee and natural orange juice. People are very friendly, they even talk spanish. They have also continental breakfast if you prefer to. Recommended place
Restaurant service is non-existent, it took them 30 min to take our order and another hour to cook it for 6+ ppl. They haven't offered us bread, even though every other table was served bread as we sat and watched it. Definitely avoid as a tourist, go to Windy Bay or Le Spot across the road. Later that night, the man was bleeding in the street next to the entrance and they just pushed him outside on the street and closed the entrance. Shocked by lack of empathy.
