Surf Camps Taghazout Maroc Ocean Adventure
Unnamed Road, Taghazout, Morocco
The Agadir Mag take
Surf Camps Taghazout draws consistent praise as a genuine alternative to Agadir’s city beaches—quieter, cleaner, and purpose-built for the wave-chasing crowd. Reviews agree on the peaceful vibe, friendly atmosphere, and reliable Atlantic swells that justify the trip north from the medina or corniche.
The place reads as a proper surfer hostel rather than a polished hotel. Reviewers mention bike rides along the promenade, camel and quad rentals on the beach, and enough onsite eating and sleeping options to avoid heading into town. Stray dogs patrol the beach (harmless, one guest notes), which won’t bother experienced travellers but might unsettle families.
What’s murky: exact room rates, wifi quality, and whether the “camp” feel means shared dorms or private rooms. Reviews are effusive but thin on specifics—nobody mentions breakfast, noise levels, or distance to the actual break. Strong signal it suits surfers and couples seeking escape from Agadir’s urban stretch. Book on the assumption you’re here for waves and calm, not creature comforts.

Check beaches in Agadir areas (north & south) I didn't like beach at Agadir city.
Loved this place! So nice and peaceful! We took a bike ride on the promenade.
What a wonderful chilled out spot away from the drearyness of Agadir. Head here for a day trip or an alternative to Agadir. Boasting wonderful clean beaches, friendly locals and a chill vibe there is ample places to eat and sleep. Swim in the Atlantic, watch the sun set over the vast expanse of water, wander over sandy beaches hand in hand. Wonderfully romantic. Love the place and on the side it is a Mecca for surfers.
If your into your surfing this is the place to be with some fantastic waves to catch. The beach itself is nice with sun beds in roped off areas, there is a lot of stray dogs about, but they are harmless. The sea was nice and the whole area in general was very peaceful. Camel rides an quad bike rentals are available on the beach.
